GLC will join our 2nd Thrivable World Quest on Wednesday, October 7, 2015, with multiple cities around the world, we will explore the next island in our Quest - the Island of MEMBERSHIP & BELONGING.
It feels like our ability and inability as people to cultivate belonging has been in the news a lot lately - in how we welcome or further traumatize refugees, in how we support or subvert important movements like #blacklivesmatter, and in how we truly embrace and create from a rich space of diversity or fight to have an easier to control monoculture.
On this “Island”, we are invited to re-imagine organisations as intentional spaces to help the planet and people to thrive - and image how these organisations might create the conditions for people who work there to feel a thriving sense of belonging.
The Thrivable World Quest is a global quest to chart how organizations must be so people and the planet can thrive. It mixes delightful, engaging in-person events and a kick-ass information platform which allows us to share the ‘booty’ across cities and with the world.
