The Pachamama Alliance was formed as a response to a call from the people of Ecuador and Peru (the Achuar) seeking to protect the Amazon rainforest, and involves more than 4000 trained volunteers in 60 countries. The call from the Achuar people was to "awaken the dreaming" of people in a consumer culture to an awareness that Pachamama (Mother Earth) needs our help. As a Global Leadership Community, we resonate with this message and invite others to join us in expanding and empowering the vision of the future each one of us carries for ourselves and our world.
